Ronald Bieber's Home on the Web

Webdesign by me

Looking back I find it thrilling to know that I started my first homepage back in early 1994, when there were just 2738 webservers out there in the whole world (Reference). HTML thrilled me - and still does (pathetic, I know). But the sheer idea to take a text editor, throw together a few files, upload it to your server and suddenly everybody all around the world can see it, no matter what OS and software he or she uses is just the greatest technology coming up in the nineties.

Anyhow, I did a couple of webpages in those years. Some of them for my own interest like the UFP-Terminal (which used to be the biggest Star Trek homepage in Germany in the late nineties) or the first homepage for my dorm (has been redesigned since, but my logo is still there).

Actually I am making a living of much broader IT consulting today, but webdesign knowledge is still a part of that. Privately, I also still do some webpages for business of friends. Have a look at them to judge my style.
